my wife susan and my brother gordon inform me that the sounds used by the music program sibelius suck and that i am doing myself a dis-service by keeping them up.. i suppose i am thinking that a musician would immediately understand how these are just song idea templates not performed by real people, but ideas that give one an impression of the possibilities that could happen if real musicians played them... i suppose the jump which necessitates one's imagination is not something that i can take for granted and in fact those who listen to these sib files will be more turned off then turned on by these sounds.. at any rate, this is the dilemna i find myself in at present.. for the moment, i am keeping them up in the thought that those with a little imagination can see how if these seed ideas where performed live, they 'd be much more interesting then what you hear - here... hear-here to that!
also, on another note i do plan up putting up some free mp3s of songs off this latest cd which might act as a catylst of sorts to reverse the impressions on some, that these same sibelius files leave! give me a week to do this.. thanks - james
